It is my privilege to give my recommendation to Chris Janek for employment consideration. I was a teammate of Chris's for a year and the work ethic he brought to the field everyday was a testament to his professionalism. I have played in the NFL and coached in the NFL since 1996 and I think Chris would be an excellent addition to your strength and conditioning department. Thank You for your time.

I met Chris during the 2003 Arena Football season as he was a member of the Colorado Crush Football team and I was the strength and conditioning coach. Chris was a highly self motivated person, never missing a workout. While out he often asked questions about techniques and protocol, trying to constantly educate himself. I have kept in contact with Chris depite his moving to another team. He will call me about questions he has about his off season training and I am happy to help.
I would reecommend Cbhris for a position in strength and conditioning because of his thirst for knowledge and his passion for training. His enthusiam would be infectious to the athletes he trained.
Sincerely
Tony Federico

My name is John Dettmann and I am the Head Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Wisconsin. I am writing this correspondence on behalf of a former football athlete, (John) Chris "Tank" Janek.
During the five years that I worked with John I found him to be a tremendously hard worker with great resolve. The physical and mental challenges we subject our athletes to are very intense and John always managed to battle through them with highest degreee of success. I always appreciated John's determination, positive attitude and work ethic. I also found John to be a very trustworthy individual. In addition, it was very obvious that John had a distinct interest in the field of strength and conditioning. He was always looking for ways to get better and was intent on obtaining greater knowledge in the field.
For these reasons it would be without question that I would be confident in recommending John as a candidate for your consideration.

I am writing this letter as a very enthusiastic recommendation for the employment of Chris Janek for your organization.
I have been fortunate to have worked with and known Chris since his collegiate days at the University of Wisconsin. There Chris excelled as both a student and an athlete, and stove to gain the most knowledge on training and preparation for football from our staff. Over the course of Chris's professional career he has engaged in seeking out information and guidance from many influential people in the field of strength and conditioning. He has broadened his knowledge base beyond the scope of training for football. His thirst and desier to learn is unquestionable. His attention to detail and organization is without question.
He and I have maintained a strong relationship of sharing information over the years and he has provided me with many important training ideas that I have in turn implemented with my athletes. chris has undoubtedly taken his approach to prefparing himself physically for the demands of his sport as zealously as his preparation to becoming one of the next best strength and conditionning coaches.
I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to write this letter on his behalf. Chris Janek would make a superior addition to your team.

Chris Janek is the football warrior that all coaches look for. I think every team has that one guy who always has blood on his pants, is always going to give you 100 percent and is a leader by example. Chris is a guy that we targeted early on for our offensive and defensive line. He’s a center, but in college he was a true defensive lineman. When you can get a good offensive center like Chris to turn his skills to the defensive side of the ball, that’s the ideal player that you want to have on your team in the Arena Football League.

Throughout my years as a World Class competitor and Coach, I have found that to be the best at your game you have to have an edge. Our Strength Coach Chris Janek has provided our wrestlers just that! I have seen a tremendous difference in our wrestlers performance both physically and mentally. This was apparent when we knocked off the number two ranked team in the State of Illinois, New Lenox Providence Catholic H.S., by over twenty points! His expertise as a Strength and Conditioning Coach along with his "State of the Art" traning facility, speaks for itself! "The faint of heart need not apply"
